NARS 15×15 Beauty Book

In honor of Nars' 15th anniversary, beauty guru, Francois Nars created a beautiful masterpiece I like to call, Coffee Table Candy. The 15x15 Project is set to launch on November 12, 2009. The book is a compilation of Nars' very own makeup and photography. (Brilliant x-mas gift idea) We can't wait!

Today’s Inspiration: Neck Scarves

We've seen many variations to the scarf like the lightweight and skinny, or the layered and fringed, and while I love the different styles, today I was reminded of how much I've always loved the classic neck scarf. My boss came in today wearing one (like the first pictured below) and I really loved it. Here are some variations for your viewing pleasure.

Animal Instinct

Hello readers, sorry I've been a little scarce lately. This past week was packed with family visits, my dad's birthday and midterms, but I am back in action. So now, for your afternoon delight, here's one of my favorite lines of Spring 2009:
With its rich color palate, luxe textures and touches of metallic, Louis Vuitton's Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear line was regal opulence at its best. I'm loving the safari-goes-to-Paris feel and think that achieving a Vuitton-inspired look this season can be fairly simple; just stick to warmer hues, structured tops and shorter hemlines,  and add a little bit of pop with a chunky earring or feathered headband.

Bravo, Marc. I'll take one in every color.

I am life…

The people at Sun City Yoga loved our blog so much, they invited us to a complimentary session last night. It's been almost a year since I last practiced, but with no hesitations I accepted. I arrived and found that everybody was extremely welcoming. Jake, the instructor, led the class beautifully. I checked my worries at the door and dedicated my practice to a better me. The variation in music was delightful and everybody seemed to practice with true sincerety and free of judgments. The practice balanced out perfectly, some exercises more challenging than others. I don't know if I'm the only one who felt this way, but halfway through the class I was already anticipating the next one--the one in which I would possibly hold my balance a little longer, stretch a little deeper.

Thanks to Sun City Yoga for such an amazing experience.
