Float On
Burberry Prorsum served as the finale show to London's fashion week this afternoon, and what a finale it was. Design head Christopher Bailey delivered an incredibly feminine (but not overly so), youthful and vibrant collection to a crowdful of A-listers (Emma Watson, Gwenyth Paltrow and Mary-Kate Olsen, to name a few in the front row). The line (my favorite of the season) is the stuff of dreams: a heavenly palate, touches of metallics, impeccable draping, and whimsical, yet edgy renditions of Burberry's signature trench. Enjoy!
Note: I know I've posted an inordinate amount of photos here, but I just couldn't help myself. (photos courtesy of Style.com).

Green With Envy
Swathed in green tweed, the models at Chanel's Fall 2009 show ushered in this season's must-have color: jade. For most of us, Chanel suits, no matter how fabulous, are out of budget. Luckily, the design house has made the coveted color more accessible, with its newly introduced Jade nail polish.
The hue graced the manicured hands of many a fashionista (from Rachel Bilson to Drew Barrymore) at New York Fashion Week, a color I'm sure we'll see plenty of throughout the fall/winter seasons.

Smoke and Shears
The Mulleavy sisters elevated their craftmanship to the next (next, next?) level at their conceptual Spring 2010 show. Flawlessly blending (and draping) macrame, leather, wool and a slew of other materials, the show (complete with a sea of smoke and a murky catwalk) was evocative of a Tim Burton-meets-Moss under-wonder-world.
